Giacomo Bozzoli fled abroad, perhaps to France, in his Maserati .

The 39-year-old, definitively sentenced to life imprisonment two days ago for killing his uncle Mario , an entrepreneur from Brescia who was thrown into the foundry oven on the evening of 8 October 2015, is still untraceable .

At 5.51am on 23 June, a passage of the Maserati Levante registered to Giacomo Bozzoli was recorded from the Manerba portal, in the province of Brescia, two minutes later from the Desenzano portal and one later at 6.03am. The 39-year-old therefore apparently left with his wife and 9-year-old son in his car . The father-in-law, interviewed by the investigators who were looking for him, reported that the family was "in an unspecified location in France" . The father Adelio Bozzoli claims to know nothing. The last connection to WhatsApp dates back to June 24th.

The president of the criminal section of Brescia Roberto Spanò has signed the decree of fugitive but the international arrest warrant has not yet been issued , which could be triggered this evening if Giacomo Bozzoli does not turn himself in.

Meanwhile, Pier Luigi Maria Dell'Osso, the magistrate who requested Bozzoli's indictment in 2020 , explains: «At the time there were no conditions for an arrest , a precautionary measure. He had always made himself available and available, the danger of escape was not recognised . Perhaps in the last week, in anticipation of the Supreme Court ruling, one was led to believe that he was being monitored in some way. But right at the most delicate moment he disappeared. It's been a short time, I think it's necessary to wait a few days, he might even turn himself in ."
