Tragedy last night on Nuova Bazzanese, in Zola Predosa in the province of Bologna.
A man was driving a car, with his two daughters aged 11 and 19 on board, when the car stopped near an exit because it ran out of petrol. When, in a dark stretch, the father and the 19-year-old girl got out of the vehicle, the latter was hit by a pickup truck coming from the same direction.
The girl died instantly, her father was slightly injured as was the driver of the pickup truck.
The 11-year-old girl, who remained in the car, was taken to hospital as a precaution but was immediately discharged.
The Carabinieri of the Borgo Panigale company intervened on site to carry out investigations and investigations, as well as 118, with three ambulances.
