The Carabinieri of the RIS, commissioned by the Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office, went to the Poggi villa with lasers, scanners and drones .

According to Tg1, the aim of the investigators is to reproduce in 3D the interior and exterior of the house in Garlasco where Chiara Poggi was killed in 2007 , to reconstruct the trajectory of the blood traces and the dynamics of the murder.

This is not a surprise inspection, but a planned activity, so much so that the parties had been notified of it for some time.

"We were informed of this investigation, it was presented to us as an inspection of the places and we are not entitled to participate, since it is an activity of the Prosecutor's Office", explained the lawyer Francesco Compagna, one of the lawyers of the Poggi family . The lawyer clarified that, from what can be understood, "the carabinieri will carry out measurements, surveys to reconstruct the crime scene, including the trajectories of the blood traces ". It is difficult in fact, since 18 years have passed, that it is a search for objects or biological material from the time.

Angela Taccia, Andrea Sempio's lawyer, is instead participating. "I have no idea what they are doing or looking for, I don't understand anything," said Massimo Lovati, Sempio's other lawyer .

Meanwhile, the wait for the evidentiary incident starting on January 17 is growing, answers are expected on fingerprints and DNA that could give a turning point to the new investigation into the crime, in which at the moment the only suspect is Andrea Sempio.
