Fire in the house in the night: mother, father and son dead

Three people from the same family died in a fire that broke out during the night in a house in Sottomarina di Chioggia , in the Venetian area .

The victims are Gianni Boscolo Scarmanati , 64 years old, his wife Luisella Veronese , 59 years old, and his 27-year-old son Davide .

The three were sleeping upstairs and would have died due to the smoke , caused by the fire that broke out on the ground floor, for reasons yet to be ascertained, around half past midnight.

The Chioggia and Cavarzere fire brigade teams and the Mestre ladder truck were on site, working until the first light of dawn.

The house is under seizure to allow investigations.
