Fire accident at the nursery school: 5 children burned, one is very serious

Tragic accident in a nursery school in Osio Sopra, in the province of Bergamo .

During a meeting between teachers, parents and pupils, during which a fire was lit to heat the marshmallows , the sweet snacks that are roasted, five children were burned .

After the alarm, rescuers intervened on the spot.

The most serious is a 4-year-old girl , who suffered multiple burns and who was transferred with the 118 helicopter rescue in Bergamo to the Buzzi hospital in Milan in red code .

A 4-year-old boy also suffered multiple burns and was transferred with the helicopter rescue in Brescia to the Niguarda in Milan in yellow code.

Yellow code also for the other three children - two 3 and 5 year old females and a 6 year old male - taken by 118 ambulances to the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo.

The episode took place at 10.30 in the garden of the San Zeno nursery school in via Montessori . Consequences also for three fathers , who are not in serious condition.

The police investigate the episode, called upon to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the incident.
