Falls on Mont Blanc, mountaineer dies at 3,400 meters above sea level
Accident on Aiguille Noire, climbing partner unharmed

A mountaineer died when he fell on the Aiguille Noire , in the Mont Blanc massif.
It happened last night, around 10 pm, at 3,400 meters above sea level . The body was recovered this morning by the Aosta Valley Mountain Rescue and transported to the valley by helicopter.
The climbing partner, taken to Courmayeur, was unharmed.
The investigations are entrusted to the Entreves Finance Police.
