Falls into the house and ends up in the lit fireplace, woman dies charred

A tragic domestic accident cost the life of an elderly woman last night in Novacchio, a hamlet in the municipality of Cascina, in the Pisano area.

The 91-year-old woman fell into the house and ended up in the lit fireplace, she was charred to death .

On the spot the carabinieri and the 118 staff, who were only able to ascertain the death of the 91-year-old.

What happened has yet to be reconstructed with certainty. According to the investigators, the woman - alone in the house - tripped and ended up on the fireplace, she had no escape. Another hypothesis is that she fell on the fireplace after accusing an illness that made her lose consciousness.
