Compulsory indictment for Fabrizio Corona. The former king of the paparazzi had defined Chiara Ferragni and Fedez "two idiots" during an interview two years ago and is now accused of defamation.
Initially, the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office had asked for the filing of the complaint formalized by the couple who did not even like Corona's references to their daughter, not yet born, and to the fact that they would have planned the child's sex for editorial purposes. The investigating judge instead accepted the opposition supported by the lawyers Gabriele Minniti (for Ferragni) and Andrea Pietrolucci (Fedez), ordering the prosecutor to formulate the charge against Corona, who is under house arrest.
In January, the lawyers filed a further lawsuit, after Corona had posted a video on Instagram in which he "mocked Fedez's latest record", writing the word "archived" in relation to the prosecutor's request on the first lawsuit.
According to the judge, the "stupid" offense would be an "epithet referring to their person" completely "free", like the statements about little Vittoria, which concern the "private sphere and not connected to the role of social importance" played by the Ferragnez.
For the defense, however, those expressions are part of "the daily interlayer".
