Daniele Rugani, former Cagliari and Juventus defender now playing for Ajax, was sentenced today by a Turin judge for drunk driving.
In addition to the penalty of 6 months of arrest and a 2,000 euro fine (with probation), the driver's license will be revoked and the Maserati will be confiscated.
The facts date back to July 21, 2023, when the footballer was subjected to an alcohol test by the traffic police after a single-vehicle accident, fortunately without serious consequences, on a ring road on the outskirts of Turin.
