Green light from the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office to the burial of Diana , the 18-month-old girl who died after being left alone at home for six days by her mother Alessia Pifferi . The clearance came after the autopsy which took place yesterday.

Meanwhile, the mother remains in prison, after being arrested on charges of multiple voluntary murder .

The investigations are conducted by the Milan Mobile Squad, coordinated by the prosecutor Francesco De Tommasi.

On August 1st, the unrepeatable tests on the contents of the vial of “En” found in the apartment in via Parea were set, to verify that it really is benzodiazepines, and on the milk left in the bottle found near the baby.

The goal is to find out if there are any traces of the potent tranquilizer her mother may have made her take. It is also necessary to check whether or not there is the baby's DNA on the bottle spout.

Solange Marchignoli , Alessia Pifferi's lawyer, spoke of the affair in these hours, explaining: “He is still in shock , he lives in a bubble. He doesn't realize what happened. This morning he said he wanted his little girl, that he wanted to go to the funeral ”. From what transpires, the woman's lawyers would be willing to ask for a neuro-psychiatric report .
