He launched into the void with the wingsuit but was involved in a tragic accident on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc massif.

A foreign base jumper died , his body was recovered a few hours away on the Freney glacier, at about 2,600 meters above sea level.

The Valle d'Aosta Alpine Rescue by helicopter intervened on the spot together with the men of the Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza of Entreves, who were entrusted with the investigations.

The body will be transported to the mortuary in Courmayeur .
