The first weekly bulletin of the Ministry of Health on the progress of the Covid pandemic has arrived, relating to the period 28 October - 3 November.

There are 166,824 new infections detected in the last 7 days , compared to 220,554 in the previous week. There is therefore a decrease of 53,730.

The deaths of the last 7 days are 496 , down by 86 units compared to the previous ones.

The positivity rate stands at 16.1%, while the people currently infected are 425 thousand.

Admissions: those in intensive care increased by 15 units compared to a week ago, those in ordinary wards fell by 277.
