A complete CT scan to ascertain the identity and then a complete autopsy to clarify the causes of death.

These are the tests ordered by the Trieste Public Prosecutor's Office and which will be carried out in the next few days on the body of a woman found Wednesday afternoon in a wooded area of the park of the former psychiatric hospital, not far from the home of Liliana Resinovich, the 63-year-old disappeared from the ward of St. John on December 14th.

The identity of the body has not been confirmed, but several elements suggest that it is Liliana: the slender build, the close glasses, compatible with those worn by the woman in some photos.

The husband of the 63-year-old, Sebastiano Visintin, says he does not know why he was not called for the recognition of the body: "I asked to see the body", he specifies, in the hope that it is not that of his Liliana.

The man is sure: “She did not commit suicide”. Among the hypotheses at the moment there is also that of suicide, in fact two transparent plastic bags were stuck in the head.

The CT scan could be performed on Monday, the autopsy on Tuesday: "Those results will be decisive for orienting the subsequent activity of this office, necessary to shed full light on the incident and to verify all the criminally relevant profiles in the affair", says the Prosecutor .

The woman's husband also spoke of Liliana's friend, Claudio Sterpin: “I was very disturbed by this occult relationship, which neither her friends nor her brother knew about. Perhaps he has plagiarized her, he is a mysterious character ”.
