Cardinal Camillo Ruini has been in critical health for several days. According to reports, he has decided to stay at home, where doctors and nurses are currently working to assist him, including with oxygen.

Last September, he was hospitalized for kidney problems but later recovered. Ruini, originally from Sassuolo, turned 95 on February 19th. From 1991 to 2007, he was president of the Italian Episcopal Conference.
