Buried Babies, Chiara Petrolini Authorized to Return Home
The investigating judge accepted the request to change the place of house arrest for the young woman accused of murder and concealment of a corpse

Chiara Petrolini returns to the house in Vignale di Traversetolo (Parma) , where she lived with her family before the house was seized following the discovery of the body of the newborn baby given birth to by the 21-year-old in August 2024 , the second of the two babies who died after being born , for which the girl is accused of murder and concealment of a corpse .
Petrolini presented a request to the investigating judge of Parma, Luca Agostini, who authorized it on January 9. The request to change the place of house arrest for the young woman, in pretrial detention since September 20, was presented by her lawyer, Nicola Tria, after the house was released from seizure at the end of November, once the carabinieri investigations were concluded.
