Bologna: A 12-year-old falls from a stairwell while playing with friends, killing him.
The victim reportedly fell from the eighth floor of a building after a slab collapsed under his feet.

A 12-year-old boy died around 7 p.m. after falling down the stairwell of a building on Via Piave, Bologna.
According to initial reports, the young man fell from the eighth floor due to the collapse of a slab under his feet.
He was accompanied by some friends who tried, in vain, to help him. The 12-year-old died instantly. Emergency responders and the police arrived on the scene.
