After the bad weather of the last few hours and the semi-cloudy sky of the afternoon, the Palio di Siena has finally come to life, with yet another Sardinian victory. Leading the Sindia jockey Carlo Sanna "Brigante" from the Onda district to triumph for the third time in his career, riding the horse Tabacco di Pozzomaggiore.

La corsa


For Sanna it was a hard-fought race until the photo finish, with five shaken horses, facing Giovanni Atzeni "Tittia" of Oca and Sebastiano Murtas of Leocorno.

Celebrations in Piazza del Campo and also in Marghine, with the community of Sindia surrounded by an atmosphere of emotion for the success of their favorite.
