A small story of great humanity in Mugnano di Napoli, where an 11-year-old boy teaches the true meaning of Christmas: attention, solidarity, and heart. Taking advantage of a moment when his father was distracted, the boy left home to sell some schoolbooks and drawings he had made, aiming to raise money for a Christmas present for his little sister. A touching gesture, born at a time of particular fragility, marked by the untimely loss of his mother.

The manager of a toy store reported to the Carabinieri in Mugnano the presence of a child outside the store, selling books and drawings. When approached by the officers, the child explained that he wasn't doing well in school and didn't want to ask his father for money.

Meanwhile, the father had gone to the Carabinieri station to report his son missing. The man then reached the child's location, appearing visibly relieved to see him in good health.

After reconstructing the incident, the Carabinieri, struck by the story, decided to buy a gift for him and one for his little sister out of their own pockets.
