A retired elementary school teacher, at the age of 88, has won her battle against the mobile phone giant Iliad , opposing the installation of new antennas in front of her house in Pulsano, in the province of Taranto, a few meters from Bosco Cagioni.

This was communicated by the lawyer Sabrina Sbiroli who dealt with the case. According to what the lawyer explains, the Council of State confirmed the precautionary order with which the TAR of Lecce, highlighting a defect of form in the procedure for the installation, had suspended it.

The company had filed an appeal with the Council of State, which however recognized the reasons supported by the 88-year-old.

"It's the first time this has happened in Puglia," Sbiroli points out. "The battle," he explains, "was fought individually by the elderly woman who, regardless of the lack of interest from her neighbors, could not bear, after years of sacrifice, to see her property disfigured and devalued by the construction of a mobile phone base station (SRB) system right in front of her house , through the installation of six new antennas, satellite dishes and technological equipment and related accessory components."
