The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating for manslaughter in relation to the death of a 22-year-old girl, Margaret Spada , originally from the province of Syracuse, which occurred during a rhinoplasty operation in an outpatient clinic of a medical center in the capital.

The death dates back to November 7th, with the girl who apparently felt ill immediately after the administration of local anesthesia.

Prosecutor Ermnio Amelio has delegated the NAS Carabinieri to investigate and the medical records have been seized. " An autopsy will be necessary to clarify the causes of death," explains lawyer Alessandro Vinci, the girl's family's attorney.

Margaret, it is understood, had contacted the surgeon after seeing an ad for him on social media . She was convinced that he was the right one, and with her boyfriend she left on November 4 for what was supposed to be a routine operation. But by the time she received the anesthetic injection, Margaret felt ill, then she was rushed to the Sant'Eugenio hospital where, however, the doctors could do nothing to save her life: the 22-year-old died after three days in a coma .
