«I tried to hug her, she refused, she had her back turned and I hit her with a stone» .

Thus, in the hearing to validate the arrest, Alessio Tucci, the 18-year-old from Afragola, confessed to the murder of Martina Carbonaro, 14 years old .

Tucci answered questions from Judge Stefania Amodeo, who ordered his continued imprisonment , in the presence of his lawyer Mario Mangazzo.

The lawyer reported that Tucci allegedly hit the girl three times . When Martina was closed and covered with furniture from the ruined room where her body was later found, she was no longer breathing .

The lawyer asked for his client to be transferred to another prison, different from Poggioreale, to avoid attacks by other inmates .

Mangazzo reported his client's statements to journalists: "He tried to hug her, she refused that hug and following this behavior, unfortunately, when she was with her back turned he hit her. Once and then later, subsequently, he landed a couple more blows with this stone. He specified that then at a certain point Martina was no longer alive. He turned the body and covered her with these furnishings that were in this abandoned house. In the grip of a fit of rage and because he did not accept the end of the relationship."

According to the lawyer, " there was no ferocity. There were these three blows and the girl then lost consciousness almost immediately. There was no ferocity due to the number of blows inflicted ." Tucci told the lawyer that " he couldn't sleep, he took some drops. Understandably, these are not easy days for him, of course, due to this serious thing he did."
