A new will by Gianni Agnelli, dating back to 1998 and apparently unpublished until now, was filed today in court in Turin.
The document was submitted to the judges by the lawyers of Margherita Agnelli, the lawyer's daughter, as part of the civil lawsuit against her children John, Lapo, and Ginevra Elkann. The news was learned on the sidelines of the hearing, which took place this afternoon.
"As a modification to other previous provisions, I leave to my son Edoardo my share in the simple partnership "Dicembre" equal to approximately 25%. I am confident that my other relatives, each already owning a share of the same business, will accept this provision of mine without objection," the document states.
The “unpublished” will is dated January 20, 1998. The aforementioned December is the “safe” of the Agnelli family which controls all the companies of the group.
