New sea tragedy, this time in the Maltese Sar area. 33 miles south-west of Lampedusa, a small boat sank: the Coast Guard recovered 45 migrants and the body of an 18-year-old Gambian girl.

The young woman was identified by her 19 and 18 year old cousins with whom she was travelling, now the girls are in shock. The prosecutor on duty in Agrigento has ordered the cadaveric inspection which will be carried out in the next few hours in the morgue of the Cala Pisana cemetery in Lampedusa where the body was taken.

The 45 survivors, all saved in the water, are currently being interviewed by the policemen of the Flying Squad of the Agrigento police station, and they are confirming that no one is missing from the appeal.
