A fatal accident occurred last night in Rimini, on the Via Emilia, near the San Martino in Riparotta exit. According to reports, around 2:00 a.m., a 31-year-old Cuban man living in Borghi lost control of his motorcycle and was then struck by a car. The man apparently swerved to avoid a badger that had run into the road, falling to the ground.

The 31-year-old was then struck by a car driven by a man in his early twenties who hadn't seen him crash onto the asphalt. Realizing what had happened, the young driver immediately called for help. When paramedics arrived on the scene, they could only pronounce the man dead.

The Highway Police arrived at the scene to conduct a survey. Investigations are ongoing to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident and shed full light on what happened. It is not yet known whether the man, who suffered multiple traumas and injuries, was already dead when he was struck by the car. His body is being held by the Judicial Authorities.
