A 12-year-old boy is stabbed in a domestic dispute. His father attempts suicide.

A 12-year-old boy was injured in Naples' Sanità neighborhood with two stab wounds to the left lung. The incident reportedly occurred in his home, and the Carabinieri are currently not ruling out the possibility that the stab wounds were inflicted by his father. He then attempted to take his own life by stabbing himself in the throat and face with the knife. His mother was also injured in the hand.

According to initial reports, the man also attacked a 118 nurse. Both father and son are hospitalized at Pellegrini Hospital with a critical prognosis.
