An 18-year-old boy, NM, died after being stabbed in the stomach following an argument over trivial matters that broke out in a beach resort in Marina di Varcaturo, on the border between the municipalities of Giugliano (Naples) and Castel Volturno (Caserta).

The episode occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m. The young man was rescued and taken to the emergency room of the Santa Maria delle Grazie hospital in Pozzuoli by a private ambulance that was passing by, dying after about an hour of agony. Two fatal stab wounds to the chest.
