A 17-year-old student, Alice Morsanutto, was hit and killed by a car, driven by a young man, as she was crossing the street to reach the bus that was to take her to school .

The accident occurred at dawn, around 6:30 a.m., in Precenicco (Udine) , about 200 meters from the girl's home. Emergency personnel from the Sores Fvg operations center were dispatched to the scene, supported by firefighters. The Carabinieri are conducting investigations to reconstruct the exact sequence of events.

According to initial reports, the student was crossing the street near a pedestrian crossing when she was struck by a vehicle, for reasons currently under investigation. The young driver immediately stopped to provide first aid.

The young woman's father rushed to the street when he heard the ambulance sirens and the air ambulance landing in the area. Upon arrival, the emergency services attempted to revive her, but were unsuccessful. The victim's twin brother had taken a bus just moments before his sister was hit .

Alice Morsanutto was a student at the Sello art high school in Udine.
