A financial endowment of 42 million euros to support Sardinian companies within the scope of the 2024-2029 Single Programming .

The Region has published the Notice for the selection of proposals , a step which – explains the regional councillor for Programming and Budget Giuseppe Meloni – «represents a strategic step for the strengthening of the productive fabric of Sardinia and for the achievement of the sustainable development objectives defined in the Regional Programme».

"With a significant allocation, we actively support - continues the exponent of the Todde Council - companies that choose to innovate, invest and grow in our territory, promoting a competitive, inclusive and green transition-oriented development model . With the same notice we also support the Sulcis Iglesiente territory , which represents a priority for our strategic planning, thanks to the specific resources of the Just Transition Fund. Our commitment is to make Sardinia an ecosystem favorable to business, capable of attracting investments and enhancing regional production chains ".

The initiative is an integral part of the sustainable economic development strategies promoted by the Region through the ERDF Plan 2021-2027 (European Regional Development Fund), with reference to Priority 1 "Smart competitiveness" and Priority 3 "Green transition", to the PN JTF (National Just Transition Fund Program) Italy 2021-2027 - Priority 1 "Support for the transition of Sulcis Iglesiente", and to the PRS 2024-2029 - (Regional development program) Strategic Area 2.9 "Sustainable economic and social development".

The new Notice – the Region underlines – represents the first stage of a broader plan that includes the publication of two additional calls for tenders, one for the tourism-hospitality sector and one dedicated to innovative investments STEP (Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform) , according to time windows that will be defined by the notices, and also providing for subsequent relaunches.
