« To solve the problem of territorial continuity, the new Regional Council proposes the solution of the old Regional Council . The match is played in Brussels and, precisely for this reason, it is essential that Sardinia is represented in the European Parliament."
Michele Cossa, Forza Italia candidate in the European elections in the Isole constituency, wrote it on social media.
«Territorial continuity is our bridge over the Strait, an essential right for the economic and social development of Sardinia. We are not asking for a privilege, but claiming the right to move around Italy and the world like all other citizens can do. Spain spends 181 euros per capita on citizens of the Balearic Islands. France 249 euros for citizens of Corsica. For Sardinia only 25 euros per capita are spent . Simply shameful. How shameful it is that European bureaucracy puts absurd brakes on territorial continuity. I will forcefully bring the issue of transport to the European Parliament, which is the heart of our battle on insularity."
