The In Situ Festival in Isili from August 29th to September 6th features over fifty artists, including from Spain and Poland. Contemporary dance, weaving, copper, poetry, and visual arts: this is the third edition.

The event is organized by the E-Motion Group, with artistic direction by Francesca La Cava. The venues will be the Maratè Museum of Copper and Textile Art, the Sant'Antonio Theater, and Asusa Park, in a journey built around the key words: Archaeology, Trajectories, Sound, Authenticity, and Material.

This year, the festival pays tribute to weavers Dolores and Daniela Ghiani. The Festival will also open on Saturday, August 29th with the exhibition "Contemporary Archaeologies - Trame del presente," a solo exhibition by Renzo Francabandera.

"In Situ," says La Cava, "was born from a desire to listen to the places and the people who inhabit them. This year we chose to intertwine the gestures of dance with those of weaving, the sound of copper with that of bodies, because we believe that tradition is not something to be preserved immobile, but a living material capable of generating new languages."

Each evening will be accompanied by poetry readings, wine tastings, and local craft beer.
