His second book Tebaldo Salis , from Settimo San Pietro , historic janitor at Brotzu di Quartu, now retired, dedicated it to Daniel, a son who no longer exists and to whom Tebaldo was and is particularly close. They also played bowls together at a national level.

On Thursday 16 May, in the Dessì house in Settimo San Pietro, at 6pm, Tebaldo Salis will present his book ("The Wayfarer") to his fellow villagers, at Casa Dessì after having proposed it yesterday in Sinnai.

The presentation will once again be entrusted to the scholar Paolo Zedda .

After having written "Writing for one's soul/autobiography of a janitor", in this second book Salis writes eight short stories, some begun many years ago, in his beloved scientific high school, the "Brotzu" of Quartu Sant'Elena, other writings lately the stories are interspersed with various poems, some by his sister, some by his son. The name of the book is taken from the story "The Wanderer", a paradoxical, almost fairy-tale story .

«My son Daniel is no longer here. Like every father, I remember him in everything I do. We were above all friends. I strongly wanted to dedicate "Il viandante", my new book, to him, but also by writing the story "I tue passi". In this book I have also included short stories, some written over 15 years ago when I was still the janitor of my beloved Brotzu scientific high school in Quartu. Some, however, are more recent. In the past I also participated in a national competition, without obtaining any merit. The important (very) thing for me was to have started."
