Heterologous procreation: the Region reimburses health and travel expenses

New funds are arriving from the Region for women who intend to access heterologous procreation techniques, i.e. those with gametes donated by individuals outside the couple.
The sum assigned - which will serve to cover health expenses and travel expenses incurred - is 300 thousand euros.
«On the proposal of the councilor for hygiene, health and social assistance, Armando Bartolazzi, – we read in a note released by the Todde administration – the Council has proposed the assignment of a loan of 300 thousand euros to the socio-healthcare companies premises for access to heterologous medically assisted procreation techniques. The sums will be used to cover health expenses and travel expenses."
