A great show of strength by the British driver of Mercedes, who started tenth and the author of a great comeback, before the decisive overtaking on the Dutchman in the 58th of 71 laps.

"Great guys, great work. We continue to push", said Hamilton, who in the World Championship ranking has shortened to -14 from the leader Verstappen. The fastest lap completed by Perez took away a possible additional point from the British in extremis.
