During the meeting, an occasion that should have celebrated twelve extraordinary months in terms of successes and memberships, the federation also spoke of the year that has just ended, marked by   complaints from some former gymnasts who complained of psychological abuse against them during the period they lived at the Desio Academy and for which Emanuela Maccarani and her assistant Tishina are being investigated, at a sporting and ordinary level.

For both, the referral of the prosecutor arrived on Monday with the start of the sports trial by the federal court scheduled for February 23 in Rome . Within ninety days there will be a ruling, while in the meantime Maccarani, who has only lost the position of Dt, will continue to train the Butterflies. « Certainly the girls are not well, the truth is this - explained Tecchi -.
