A large-scale tourism promotion project starts from Guasila , involving first the individual villages of Trexenta and then the whole Union of Municipalities. Objective: to enhance archaeological assets, churches, but also intangible assets, such as events and ancient local traditions.

"During the pandemic - explains Paola Carta, Councilor for Tourism and Communication - I tried to give shape to my idea of communication, which has now materialized through the website created thanks to the Lavoras project and the skills of the tourist operator Rosa Chiara Congiu ".

On August 13, during the opening evening of the feast of the Assumption by the Pro Loco, the site "Guasila in tour" will be presented and the photographic installations will be inaugurated   on the Montegranatico which, through the QRcode, will tell (thanks to the voice of the musician Roberto Etzi) the events that characterize the patronal feast: the Palio della Assunta, the heifer hunt, and the procession of the Dormitio Virginis. "We have inaugurated a new phase of tourism promotion, which is inserted and harmonized together with a network project with neighboring municipalities", says Mayor Paola Casula.

The municipal administration of Guasila has launched "Trexenta Experience" , a unique brand that immediately distinguishes the territory and its offer. Within this new and renewed management and vision, it will be possible to tell visitors about the treasures kept in the Scrinia Sacra museum, the relics of the First World War of the Raimondo Scintu museum and the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine Assunta, which are the setting for events born a few years ago. , such as the Festival dell'Altrove , dedicated to the well-known anthropologist Giulio Angioni,   protagonist of the rich calendar of literary and cultural events in the coming months.
