Together with them the actress and singer Pina Giarmanà, who plays the housekeeper Bettina, while Paola Senatore and Jacopo Sorbino are the children Adele and Massimiliano.
A funny comedy full of twists, capable of making you smile and think.
THE SHOW - "Il Silenzio Grande" is an engaging and original play that addresses the theme of the family, with its symbolic projection in the house, the imposing and luxurious Villa Primic, a place of affection but also a theater of conflicts, keeper of children and serious secrets: the hypothesis of putting that house up for sale, so difficult and expensive to maintain, especially upsets the writer, who has woven the plots of his books here, isolated in the quiet of his studio, a sort of "sanctuary" in which engage in exercises of the imagination.
The majestic construction is almost the "materialization" of his fame and prestige, of his commitment and dedication to the work that fascinates him and that occupies most of his time: that undoubtedly deserved success, fruit of his talent and his imagination, the ability to tell stories and guess the tastes of the public, "materializes" in those walls, the house represents everything he has created, or so he believed, to offer his loved ones a certain degree of economic well-being and a good social position.
The initial intuition from which the comedy took shape is the result of a fruitful collaboration between the beloved Neapolitan writer Maurizio De Giovanni and the actor and director Alessandro Gassman, then developed to materialize in a show with a strong author and in the film of the same name, presented at the Venice International Film Festival, which has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the “Ciak d'Oro” for directing and for best actor to Massimiliano Gallo.
