New German success at the Giro d'Italia.

After yesterday's winning sprint by Ackermann, today the twelfth stage from Bra-Rivoli was won by Nico Denz, his first success in the pink race.

He beat the Latvian Toms Skujins in the sprint; slightly more detached the Australian Sebastian Berwick. Geraint Thomas, who arrived in the group 8' from the winner, remains in the pink jersey with 2" on Roglkic and 22" on Almeida.
