Gigi Riva Trophy: Cagliari vs. Nice at Unipol Domus

Cagliari vs. Nice will be the second edition of the Gigi Riva Trophy, scheduled for Saturday, August 8th at 8:30 PM at the Unipol Domus. Another French team will be taking part, just like last year when Saint-Étienne traveled to Sardinia to commemorate the historic 1970 European Cup clash. The friendly, with a trophy on the line, will also be the club's first home fixture of the season, six days before their official Coppa Italia debut against Arezzo or Union Brescia.
The match between Cagliari and Nice "is a tribute to Gigi Riva and the values he embodied on and off the field," explains the Rossoblù club. " An event that unites sport, identity, and belonging in the name of a figure who continues to represent a universal legacy for the club , for all of Sardinia, and for Italian football." The program will begin at 6:30 PM, with entertainment and activities dedicated to fans and families.
Tickets will be on sale from 4:00 PM on Monday, June 29, online at TicketOne and at authorized ticket offices. Prices, plus a €2 booking fee, are: €5 in the stands, €10 in the Distinti Laterali, €15 in the Distinti Centrali, €20 in the Tribuna Blu, and €30 in the Tribuna Rossa . Under-14s pay €2 in all sectors.
