The attachment to the blue shirt has "disappeared", Roberto Mancini and Luciano Spalletti "have to explain".

Gigi Riva, icon of the Azzurri and European champion in 1968, talks about the very delicate situation the national team is going through: from Mancini's sudden resignation to Spalletti's clause which slowed down the negotiations between the FIGC and the former Napoli coach to bring the Italian champion coach to the Azzurri.

«I don't understand anything anymore, because Mancini hadn't shown signs of intolerance. I do not know what to say. One thing that comes to mind is that there was a breakup, but we'll know that later. It's something that isn't clear, and around the national team that belongs to everyone, things need to be clear», says "Rombo di Tuono" interviewed for the Giornale Radio Rai by Francesco Repice.

«I feel insecure, there is no more seriousness - continues Riva -. The attachment is gone. Both Mancini and Spalletti need to clarify: the national team belongs to everyone, it doesn't have a fan or two. It belongs to everyone."
