Gianmarco Mazzi is the new Minister of Tourism . This morning, he was sworn in at the Quirinale Palace to confirm his appointment to the ministry left vacant by Daniela Santanchè's resignation on March 25.

Mazzi, a former member of Parliament and Undersecretary of Culture, was born in Verona in 1960. A member of the Brothers of Italy party, he managed and collaborated with major artists such as Riccardo Cocciante, Francesco Baccini, Adriano Celentano, Pooh, and Gianni Morandi. He also curated several editions of the Sanremo Music Festival and, from 2017 to 2022, served as artistic director and CEO of the management company of the Verona Arena.
