The dictionary became man. In the sense that the students of the Liceo Azuni of Sassari were able to listen live to Franco Montanari, author of the famous "GI - Vocabulary of the Greek Language" by Loescher on which the latest generations of students have practiced translating.

About two hundred students participated in the lesson of Montanari in the Aula Segni, who in addition to being an internationally renowned Greek scholar is also known for his studies on Homer . In fact, the lesson had the title "Odysseus the (re)conqueror".

Professor Montanari led the Azunian students in a fascinating exploration of the figure of the hero and protagonist of the Odyssey and answered their questions, then signing some personal copies of his now famous dictionary. The academic also gave an interview to two students for the "Eureka Show" column of the "Azuni News TV" section of the Institute's online newspaper, in which he retraces his training at the Scuola Normale di Pisa, his teaching activity university and classical philology studies.

The events with Professor Montanari as a guest of the Liceo Azuni were coordinated by Nicola Cadoni , professor of the institute and his former student at the University of Genoa, on the occasion of his presence in Sassari, on the initiative of the local section of the Italian Association of Classical Culture , to present his first novel entitled “La luna di Sappho”, published by Rizzoli.
