Francesca Fagnani is close to leaving Rai. The host of "Belve" has reportedly asked to terminate her exclusive contract with Viale Mazzini until spring 2027. The request, according to Adnkronos and reported by Corriere della Sera, was formalized last June through her agent, before the presentation of the new season's schedule. The decision is said to be based on a damaged relationship of trust with part of the company and the feeling of not having been adequately valued professionally.

Fagnani's name had been considered for the hosting of "Chi l'ha visto?" after Federica Sciarelli's departure. She reportedly agreed, but RAI ultimately chose Raffaella Griggi, an in-house journalist for the program. Meanwhile, the idea of giving her the "Report" role after Sigfrido Ranucci's departure had also been floated, but that too fell through.

A series of decisions that would have fueled Fagnani's discontent, but her departure is not yet definitive. RAI reiterated that the exclusive contract is still valid and, through Williams Di Liberatore, Director of Prime Time Entertainment, called Fagnani a "valuable resource" for the company. Meanwhile, the presenter's future remains open.   And above all, it remains to be seen what will happen to "Belve," the program that Fagnani created and brought to success and which, precisely for this reason, could follow her even outside of Rai.
