Great news for Sardinian football. There are now four Sardinian teams entitled to participate in the next Serie D championship. And there will be a representative from Southern Sardinia. Monastir, thanks to the category jump through the national Eccellenza playoffs, joins the two teams that confirmed the Fourth Series last season, Olbia, Latte Dolce and Budoni.

Costa Orientale Sarda and Ilvamaddalena, relegated from the D after the playouts, will apply for repechage, but it will take a long time to know the outcome. The tournament has been reduced from 168 teams to 162.

Four Sardinians then, as in the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 seasons. In the last championship there were five teams, of which three were relegated (Cos, Uri and Ilva). Three Sardinians were also relegated in 2021/2022 (Carbonia, Lanusei and Latte Dolce) in a tournament that however had seven islanders (in addition to the three relegated Torres, Arzachena, Muravera and Uri).
