The year will end with a new bench for two former Dinamo coaches. Gianmarco Pozzecco, who won the 2019 European Cup and Super Cup with Sassari, has signed for Turkish side Galatasaray. The former national team coach joins a team that is currently sitting in mid-table in Turkey, while having qualified for the Round of 16 of the FIBA Champions League.

The Turkish club also made a bid for guard Jordan Ford, currently playing for Trapani, who, however, is in increasingly dire straits and has been penalized with another three points (after the five they started the season with). Trapani's continued Serie A status is at risk.

Sassari's other former coach, Nenad Markovic, who replaced Bucchi and was then replaced by assistant Bulleri, signed for the Greek side Panionios, who have a 1-11 record at home and in the EuroCup.
