“Football is Football”: the first documentary on Cagliari Women presented

"Football is Football" is the title chosen by Publikendi and Filmendi for the title of the documentary dedicated to the Cagliari women's team, presented late today in an event at the Opificio Innova in Sa Manifattura. In the presence of the managers and the two youth football teams (Under-15 and Under-17) represented in the video, as well as the new five-a-side football team that will face the next Serie A championship after the agreement with Mediterranea, the documentary was screened for the first time, lasting about 12' and will be available on the Cagliari Calcio app and official channels. A journey that lasted all last year, with the stories of the protagonists and their coaches who highlighted the emotions, sensations, passion and efforts made by the girls in the category championships, with the voices of the protagonists and the images of some symbolic matches.
The project. Curated by Cagliari Calcio together with the Cagliari agencies Publikendi and Filmendi, the documentary "Football is football" leads to the discovery of the reality of the red and blue women's football, which last season had teams participating in the Under-15 and Under-17 tournaments.
"This is a beautiful work from which passion emerges", the greeting to those present from the general manager of Cagliari Calcio, Stefano Melis. "It is a source of great satisfaction to see that in each of you there are beautiful concepts: they are the values that we try to carry forward as a company, that are a North Star to follow every day. We summarize them in three concepts: integrity, ambition and perseverance". The occasion was also used to announce how Publikendi and Filmendi will also be partners of Cagliari in 2024-2025: "This documentary was born to give value to something that is not yet visible enough, like women's football. It is a drop in the ocean, but if anyone who works in communication manages to take up this challenge of ours then something positive will be created", the message from the COO of Publikendi Andrea Carta.
