Floris and Nu land in Japan: «Sardinians in the Land of the Rising Sun, get in touch»
New adventure for the protagonists of “Ovunquesardi”, Stefano Floris and Tiziana Nuvoli: «Whoever is there and is an islander, if they want, contact us»Floris and Nu, for the few who don't know you, who haven't followed the program on Videolina "Ovunquesardi", explain who you are.
«Floris and Nu, Stefano Floris and Tiziana Nuvoli: a couple deeply in love with life, smiles, hugs. With nature. This is the main reason that led us to make this love our job. We combined all these passions by becoming safari guides first and then travel documentary makers in search of Sardinians around the world: meetings and more smiles and hugs. We forgot, we are very much in love with each other».
We followed you on Videolina step by step. Now a new adventure. Straight towards the rising sun.
«Absolutely true. After having documented the lives of Sardinians who emigrated to, let's say, Westernized areas of the world (Europe, the United States, Australia and New Zealand), we felt a strong desire to go and look for our fellow countrymen in a side of the Earth that is culturally different from ours. Totally. Japan came out on its own, immediately, easily. It will be 50 days of fire, which will begin with the Isola Sardegna club in Tokyo, will proceed among the cherry trees in bloom throughout the state and will end on a remote island».
When will we see you on Videolina?
"We start on the afternoon of March 17 and return on May 5, 50 days between bullet trains and rickety vans. We return to Furtei, about three months of editing and from September we will be back in prime time on Videolina: 12 1-hour episodes, all to be discovered. Obviously, this time too, using mostly unreleased music that every year, all the Sardinian artists, send us".
By the way. Will you also meet the group of Japanese who sing a tenore?
"We wrote to the Tenores de Tokyo to ask for a meeting. We hope they accept, they are very busy. But the desire to meet them, even if it is only in the rehearsal room, and to hear them sing for two minutes in front of our cameras, is really great. We hope they take us seriously. Because we are aware that we seem like two runaways, without art or part. To increase credibility we sent them the episodes on Videolina and our recent appearances on Rai".
We are launching an appeal for those who live in Japan and want to tell their experience? How to contact you?
«Absolutely yes. To all Sardinians living in Japan but also to all our fellow countrymen who have relatives or close friends there: contact us through our social pages Floris and Nu or by sending us an email to info@florisenu.it. We reassure those who are uncertain whether to contact us or not that they will all be friendly, fun, very spontaneous and not constructed meetings. Don't worry: you will have fun with us».
