" The foundations for relaunching the centre-right have been laid", declared the secretary and deputy of Forza Italia Pietro Pittalis at the end of the first summit of the coalition after the electoral defeat of the local elections ("sounding defeat", underlined the FdI coordinator Alessandra Zedda) which was held today in Oristano. The blue man is also the one who called the table, a sign of a shift in the centre-right axis towards the more moderate centre . A rebirth, and an enlargement, which will have to pass through "an openness to the contribution of Sardinian civil society" . An objective shared by FdI. Paolo Truzzu himself spoke of subjects who have now landed on the center-left but who in the past were on the opposite side. According to Antonello Peru of Sardinia at Centro 20 Venti, «redefining and relaunching the center-right must take into account territorial autonomy, choosing the best of the candidates for presidents or mayors, without conferring these roles on names decided in Rome. If we had done it this way we would have won the regional elections."

Psd'Az and Alleanza Sardegna were absent from the table. In the first case, the secretary Christian Solinas also explained this morning, « I wrote to Pietro (Pittalis , the secretary and deputy of FI who proposed today's meeting ed.) asking a simple question with the intention of doing something useful to build an alternative project to the current government of the island: with whom should we do the analysis of the vote, with political subjects, or individual people who were on the side of the last administrative elections, some with Campo Largo and some with the civic group, some a little ' here and a little there , I believe that the citizens of Alghero, Sassari and the whole of Sardinia would not understand the images of a table at which people who have followed different paths and are transforming that political idea and that government formula sit together which until some time ago had the Region and some centers on the island in its hands in a sort of large hourly hotel with variable structures ".

As for Alleanza Sardegna, group leader Franco Mula explained , " we don't know who organized this summit, in any case they should have heard from us to understand what to discuss, what's on the agenda ." On the other hand, «Alleanza Sardegna has its own history, it has done its duty and brought an excellent result for the centre-right economy».

Present at the table were Paolo Truzzu and Alessandra Zedda for FdI, Pietro Pittalis and Angelo Cocciu for Forza Italia, Aldo Salaris for the Reformers, Michele Pais, Michele Ennas and Alessandro Sorgia for the League, Stefano Tunis and Antonello Peru for Sardinia at the 20Venti centre, Roberto Sorcinelli of the Pli.
