Edition number 21 for the Festival of Author's Dance "Corpi in Movimento", organized by the association Danzeventi of Sassari. From September 9th to November 2nd the program offers 15 shows by as many companies, spread over ten evenings.

We leave on Monday at 6 pm at the Baretto di Porto Ferro with the Mandala Dance Company , one of the historic groups of Italian dance, which presents “Essence”, to leave space for the young author Roberta Maimone and the Memic Project with their Alex, a creation selected for the Showcase of young authorial dance 2023.

On Tuesday at 8.30 pm at the Monte Lisiri Volcano in Ittireddu, the Mvula Sungani Physical Dance company arrives, offering “The Dance of Water”. On September 11th at 9pm at Lo Quarter in Alghero “Gazela, la zia Akima e lo spirito della sanità” by Con.Cor.DA will be performed, in an evening that will also feature the students of the Liceo Coreutico di Sassari . On the 12th we return to the Vulcano di Ittireddu in the company of Spellbound contemporary ballet and Borderline danza . On the 13th the company Estemporada presents a work in co-production with Dinamo Banco di Sardegna and the Dinamo Foundation: at 6 pm at the Baretto di Porto Ferro with Asmed Balletto di Sardegna . On the 14th at the Quarter of Alghero there are the Compagnia degli Istanti of Simona Bucci and Res Extensa Dance Company of Elisa Barucchieri. On September 15th another show at 6 pm at the Baretto di Porto Ferro which will host the Lost Movement and Fabula Saltica companies.

The festival starts again on October 12th at 8.30pm at the Teatro Verdi in Sassari with the extraordinary participation of Germaine Acogny , Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement 2021, who together with the Ecole des Sables presents “Hommage au Ancetres”. On October 26th in the Sala Esttemporada in Sassari there is “Shkundem” by the Albanian Dance Theatre and on November 2nd a grand closing at 8.30 pm at the Teatro Verdi with Daniele Cipriani Entertainment which proposes, in a regional premiere after the preview at the Nid Platform, the talented Sasha Riva and Simone Reple in the show “Dear son, caro figlio”.
