Arianna Errigo, Alice Volpi, Martina Favaretto and Francesca Palumbo defeated the United States, dominating the match with a score of 45-27.

The bronze medal was won by Japan, who beat Hungary 45-30.

A medal, in this case silver, also the men's sword team composed of Andrea Santarelli, Davide Di Veroli, Federico Vismara and Gabriele Cimini, who was beaten by France in the final with a score of 45-42.

Thus the medals won so far by the Italian team rise to seven.
