Franca Fendi died in the night in Rome. Together with his sisters Paola, Anna, Carla and Alda he had managed the famous fashion house which had previously been founded by his parents in 1925. Over the years the brand has become one of the most prestigious in the field of leather goods and fur in particular.

Fundamental in this evolution was the collaboration, which dates back to the 1960s, with the designer Karl Lagerfeld, who died in 2019.

Franca Fendi felt bad in her home at Camilluccia. Rescue, albeit timely, was useless.
